What’s Included
The For Sale or Lease by Owner Service for Commercial Properties and Businesses is for investors committed to selling or leasing their investment property or business on their own without the help of a real estate agent with no commission due. The cost of the service is $499.00 for a six-month listing and includes the following:
- A six-month listing on Living Connecticut’s website. This is not an MLS listing. If you’d like your listing to appear on the Realtor’s® MLS, go to the Seller’s Multiple Listing Service, where you’ll find other commercial properties and businesses listed.
- You’ll create your web listing through the Dashboard that you’ll have access to once you sign up for the service.
- You’ll be able to include property details, upload photos and a video tour if you choose, post your open house schedule, provide directions and any special notes, and add your contact information for buyers to email or phone you directly for questions and to schedule showings. If you have any questions about using the tool to help create your listing, contact us; we’ll be happy to help.
- Buyers will be able to print out and email copies of your listing and will have the option to provide feedback on scheduled showings and public open houses.
- A professional “For Sale by Owner,” “For Lease by Owner,” or “Business for Sale” sign-on loan to you installed on your property or at your business with your phone number added for buyers to contact you directly.
- Your own web address is linked to your listing and displayed on your For Sale or Lease by Owner sign for people driving by to access your listing in real-time.
- An “Open House” sign is included.
- A “Business for Sale,” “Commercial Property for Sale,” or “Commercial Property for Lease” directional sign is included, depending on which one is applicable.
- Information and trade secrets that agents use, including ways to get your investment property in front of buyers and lessees looking for commercial or business properties, are included on your Dashboard.
If you would like to sign up for the For Sale by Owner Service:
- Step 1: Go to and review the Service Agreement.
- Step 2: If you’d like to proceed, agree to the terms and fill out the form with your information included.
- Step 3: Select your payment method through Pay Pal, where the cost of the service is $499.00.
- Step 4: Once your payment is processed, you’ll be taken back to the site, where you will create a login and password and then be redirected to your Dashboard each time you log in.
